Make Your Sample Correctly, Semen Analysis Includes, How to Get Results Quickly

Preparing sample in office or home
  1. No intercourse or masturbation - at least 3 days and no more than 5 days.
  2. Wash then dry hands and genital area.
  3. Collect entire sample into container - close lid tightly.
  4. Label the cup – Name, Date of Birth, Date and time sample made.
  5. Give cup directly to Dr. Brandeis or the lab assistant.
  6. Bring sample from home to office within 90 minutes. Keep container in your pants pocket only.
Sperm analysis report includes
  1. The preliminary report includes volume count, motility, forward progression, ph, and viscosity.
    Preliminary report is usually available within an hour.
    Dr. Brandeis can show you the sample under the microscope and provide a free consult.
  2. The complete final report also includes Morphology.
    The complete report is usually available late that evening or the next day.
Geting your report
  1. The Brandeis Fertility Center emails the complete sperm report within 24 hours
    to you and your referring physician.
  2. If you do not receive your report by email the next day:
    A. Call or text the office at (718) 433-3833.
    B. Visit the Get Reports section on our homepage.
  3. To send your physician a report :
    go to Contact Form and click Send Results to my Physician.
