INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPERM ANALYSIS

  1. Abstain from intercourse or masturbation for at least 3 days.
  2. Wash hands and genital area, then dry completely.
  3. Collect the entire semen sample into the sterile container – close the lid tightly.
  4. Label the cup: name, date of birth, date and time.
  5. Give the sample directly to Dr. Brandeis or the technician.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL ANÁLISIS DE ESPERMA

  1. Abstenerse de tener relaciones sexuales o masturbarse durante al menos 3 días.
  2. Lávese las manos y la zona genital y luego séquese completamente.
  3. Recoja toda la muestra de semen en el recipiente esterilizado y cierre bien la tapa.

Making the sample in at home:

  1. Transport container to office within 90 minutes in your pocket at body temperatures.

Sperm Analysis...Preliminary report in 20 minutes:

  1. The analysis is done soon after sample received and completed in 15-20 minutes.
  2. Same day preliminary report: volume, count, motility, forward progression.
  3. Next day final report includes: Kruger Strict Morphology.
Morphology is the percent of sperm with normal head shape, mid-piece and tail.
Final report morphology will be sent to you the next day.

Análisis de laboratorio:
